It’s a design pattern used to highlight important actions or information without navigating away from the current page.

IE1 efficiency motors do not comply with the minimum efficiency requirements of EU Ecodesign Regulation 2019/1781 for new motor installations. Since the introduction of the Ecodesign regulations, IE1 motors have generally been phased out for most standard industrial applications and may only be encountered in older installations, specialist applications, or where specific exemptions apply. IE4 motors represent the next generation of premium-efficiency motors and are required for some applications under current Ecodesign legislation. Amtecs does not currently manufacture IE4 motors; therefore, our range is available up to IE3 efficiency.

IE2 cast iron motors are not included within the Amtecs cast iron range. Due to current Ecodesign efficiency requirements and market demand, IE3 has become the standard efficiency class for most cast iron motor applications. As a result, the range is supplied in IE3 efficiency as standard, providing a compliant and energy-efficient solution for new installations..
