Mounting Descriptions

B3 – Foot Mounted 
B3 foot mounted motors are the most common motor mounting configuration used in industrial applications. Designed with mounting feet fixed to the base of the motor frame, they are installed directly onto a flat surface or machine bed. This mounting style provides a strong and stable installation, making 
B3 motors ideal for pumps, conveyors, compressors, fans, and general industrial machinery. Their simple installation and maintenance make them a versatile solution across a wide range of applications.    

B5 – Flange Mounted 
B5 flange mounted motors are designed with a large flange and no feet, allowing the motor to be directly mounted to driven equipment through the flange face. This configuration is commonly used where space is limited or precise alignment is required. B5 motors are widely used in pumps, gearboxes, compressors, and processing machinery, providing a compact and efficient mounting solution with reliable performance in industrial environments.    

B14 – Small Face Mounted 
B14 small face mounted motors feature a compact mounting face with threaded fixing holes, making them ideal for smaller or more compact machinery. Their design allows for close-coupled installations where space saving and accurate positioning are important. B14 motors are commonly found in light industrial equipment, small pumps, fans, and automated machinery where a compact motor arrangement is required.    

B34 – Foot and Small Face Mounted 
B34 motors combine both foot mounting and B14 small face mounting within a single motor design, offering increased installation flexibility. This dual-purpose configuration allows the motor to be mounted either by its feet or directly through the small face flange, depending on application requirements. B34 motors are suitable for a wide range of machinery and are particularly useful where adaptable mounting options are beneficial during installation or equipment upgrades.    

B35 – Foot and Flange Mounted 
B35 motors combine traditional foot mounting with a B5 flange, providing maximum versatility for industrial applications. This configuration allows the motor to be securely mounted using either the feet, the flange, or both together for added support and alignment accuracy. B35 motors are commonly used in heavy-duty industrial machinery, pumps, conveyors, and compressors where robust installation and flexible mounting arrangements are required.
